The Final Countdown!

Hello,

This weeks blog is very short and to the point, so thanks for reading and until next time.....

Actually it's not quite that short (as the actress said to the Bishop). Midnight tonight is decision time for Raising Steam in that if 40 tickets have by sold by then the festival goes ahead (Hurrah!). It should be fairly obvious that if sales are less than 40 tickets then steam won't be raised, there will be one less steampunk event to enjoy and four miserable faces in Crimson Clocks Tower.

It does state very clearly on the event page that if the festival does not go ahead there will be full refunds on all tickets (refunds don't include the fee added by Eventbrite though) - hopefully that means there won't be 300 (THIS IS STEAMPUNK!/ Tonight we dance in Reading!) people all wanting to go but waiting until the 9th of September to buy tickets just in case they can't get their money back. So, if after you have read this you could both be sure to tell the other 298 people what they need to do, then that would be most helpful.

It's worth bearing in mind that all profits from Raising Steam go to charity, so buying a ticket means you are supporting steampunk music, a good cause and will be having a great weekend.

The clock is ticking and the deadline is rapidly approaching - ticket prices have been reduced for this weekend only (details on the event page)  - the fate of Raising Steam is in your hands. Tickets are available here

Thanks for reading, and until next week farewell.
