Waxing Lyrical...

Hello,

I hope this weeks blog finds you in good health and spirits.

Yesterday saw us at The Grand Pavillion in Matlock Bath for Psychedelic Steampunk at The Pavillion, organised by BB Black Dog (thanks for inviting us to play). Mike of BB Black Dog went beyond the call of duty in his efforts to raise funds to replace their stolen equipment by allowing people to tear a strip of wax off him at £2.00 a go. There seems to be either a lot  of charitable steampunks or a lot of sadistic ones, it was difficult to tell if they were getting so much pleasure from raising funds or if it was from Mike's howls of pain. He managed to raise in excess of £80, hopefully the money will be more permanent than the pain.

We took to the stage at around 16:30 and added a couple of extra numbers to our normal set. Thank you to those of you that were kind enough to let us know you had enjoyed the set - it's having people take the trouble to do so that makes it all worthwhile.

The next few weeks see us working on new material, and then on the 23rd we will be at The Second Surrey Steampunk Convivial, we hope to see you there.

Thank you for reading, as ever if you would like to get in touch please do so via our Facebook page until next time, farewell.
